Famous for its Vimbe beach, we were a bit dissapointed with Pemba. What impressed us the most were coral reefs however, some within a few metres of the sandy beach, filled with a rich choice of Indo-Pacific reef life. Unbelivable variety of soft corals, small fish, starfish, anemone fish, see urchins make this place a diving paradise.
